Vegetarian Keema with Peas and Tomatoes

0.5 tbsp vegetable Oil
1 small onion
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
10g fresh root ginger, peeled and finely chopped
1 tbsp garam masala or Punjab masala
0.5 tsp fenugreek seeds
05 - 1 green chilli chopped
300g pack quoin mince
3 essential tomatoes
deseeded and diced
0.5 tbsp tomato puree
75g frozen peas
1 lemon, juice of 0.5
0.5 cut in wedges
4 poppadoms to serve
30g lime and chilli chutney to serve.
Heat the oil in an medium pan add the onion, garlic and ginger and sauté for 6 minutes over a medium heat until soft; season. Add the masala, fenugreek and chilli; cook for another minute.
Add the mince, tomatoes puree and 150ml of water; stir together. Cook over.a medium heat for 8 minutes. Add the peas and lemon juice and cook for a further 4 minutes. Serve with the lemon wedges, poppadoms and the chutney alongside.
