Sheila Biddlecombe - Carer Caseworker DCC

Sheila came to visit the Dorset Carers Hub on Friday 22nd March to discuss and advise on Carers Assessments and the possible changes arising from the creation of The Dorset Council as of 1st April 2019.

In a recent straw poll 63% of Carers had never had an assessment for their own needs. It is vital that as many Carers as possible have an assessment which may benefit them and which is a legal right.
