Dorset Council Adult’s Commissioning Team

We need your help, so please save the date!

Following on from the work we have been doing to improve the support and services we can offer to carers, and having listened carefully to your views, we find we have an opportunity to add in two task and finish groups, which will only operate over 6 weeks, across the areas of carer support and information and guidance.

You are invited to join Cllr. Cherry Brooks, Lead Member for Adult Social Care and Health, and the Dorset Adults Commissioning team to attend one or more of those meetings. We know that there is much we can do to improve the support and services we can offer to carers and we want to share our ideas with you to help us refine our thinking. We are fortunate to have gained the support from Cllr. Brooks to help us push our plans for carers forward and make them a priority.

Cllr Cherry Brooks says … I know from personal experience how challenging it can be to be a carer and we have a real opportunity to finalise our efforts using the resources from across the council to help make this happen. We realise that this is very short notice for you, but we really would appreciate your input and support. We would like to invite you to some online sessions where we can gain your views and check our thinking.
